Director of Research
We are proud to announce the appointment of our first Director of Research. This pivotal role will be filled by a distinguished expert in the field, who will officially join our team in Spring 2025.
The Director of Research will spearhead Knospe-Lerncenter’s commitment to advancing knowledge and practices in therapeutic services. With a robust background in clinical research, the new director will drive innovative studies, enhance evidence-based practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
This appointment marks a significant step in our mission to deliver cutting-edge therapeutic solutions. Our new director’s expertise will be instrumental in guiding our research initiatives and ensuring that we remain at the forefront of scientific and clinical advancements.
The new Director of Research will lead several key initiatives, including:
- Overseeing current research projects and launching new studies in ABA, OT, PT, and SLP.
- Collaborating with external research institutions and academic partners.
- Implementing innovative methodologies to enhance treatment outcomes.
- Publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at industry conferences.
Ethics of AI
In June 2024, David Cole and Sarah Carstens presented at the Best of ABA conference in Cagnes-sur-Mer, France. This conference, known for gathering leading experts in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from around the globe, provided an excellent platform for discussing cutting-edge research and advancements in the field.
Our presentation focused on the evolution and impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in ABA, offering a deep dive into the conceptual, ethical, and practical issues surrounding the integration of AI into behavioral analysis and therapy. We traced the journey of AI from its early beginnings, highlighting key milestones and breakthroughs, and explored how these advancements are transforming ABA practices today.
The presentation was well-received, sparking insightful discussions among attendees about the future of AI in ABA. We are honored to have been part of this esteemed speaker list and look forward to continuing our contributions to the field.
