Mónica Oviedo Rodríguez

Mónica is a physical therapist, certified lymphedema therapist, and mechanical diagnosis therapist who pairs rigorous, evidence-based practice with genuine compassion. A graduate of Santa Paula University’s Physical Therapy program, she has deepened her expertise with Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy training from The McKenzie Institute (Part A, 2023) and certification as a Lymphedema Therapist from the Escuela Colombiana de Linfología (2024).

Over the past five years she has treated complex orthopedic, post-surgical, and lymphedema cases across hospital, outpatient, and home-care settings, notably at Clínica Bíblica Hospital and Servisalud Centro de Bienestar.

Her commitment to community care shines through volunteer work at Camp Watch Me in the United States, where she supports children living with primary lymphedema.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Mónica excels in patient education, manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and skin-and-wound care. Guided by empathy, clear communication, and the latest research, she empowers every patient to reclaim independence and return to the activities they love.
