Micah Ireland

Micah is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with over 10 years of special education experience. Prior to becoming a BCBA, Micah earned a master’s degree in Education from the Rochester Institute for Technology & National Institute for the Deaf, with a focus on Deaf Education and American Sign Language. They worked as a teacher of the Deaf for students with multiple disabilities, including those with autism, those with physical disabilities, and those with emotional support needs. Additionally, Micah spent several years as a teacher then behavior specialist in a residential program for teens. Their experience teaching students with a diverse range of communication modalities led to their interest in ABA and is carried throughout their work, as they seek to find creative ways to promote language in their clients.

Micah moved here from Pittsburgh, PA. They enjoy learning new languages, traveling, and learning about different cultures. Outside of work, they also enjoy spending time with their two young sons, going on walks with their dogs, and visiting museums.
