M.Ed. BCBA, PhD Candidate
Hailing from Ontario, Kate is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology with deep area expertise in applied behavior analysis and developmental disabilities.
In her role as Clinical Practice Lead at Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca in North Bay, Kate was instrumental in supervising a team of behavior analysts, a position to which she brought a decade of experience to beginning as a an Instructor Therapist at ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development in Mississauga. Her leadership was characterized by innovative program development and the enhancement of clinical services, particularly in the area of behavioral interventions.
Her influence extends to the academic sector as a Sessional Lecturer at Nipissing University and a Subject Matter Expert at Canadore College in North Bay. Here, she significantly contributed to the development of a comprehensive Registered Behavior Technician program, showcasing her dedication to fostering the next generation of professionals in her field.
Kate’s commitment to leadership and Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) is evident in her completion of a Public Sector Executive Leadership Program from Rotman School of Business, Toronto, and an Organizational Behavior Management Certificate from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Her diverse professional roles and academic achievements underscore her dedication to both personal and professional growth, marking her as a dynamic force in the field of behavior analysis.
