Katherine “Katy” Piecyk

Dr. Piecyk is a Board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist in physical therapy with extensive experience providing pediatric care across outpatient, inpatient, and early intervention settings. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University and completed a highly specialized pediatric residency at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center, where she advanced her clinical training in outpatient, aquatic, home-based, and natural environment therapy services.

Katy is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about using her language skills to strengthen communication and support Spanish-speaking families and underserved communities. Her clinical work is guided by a strong commitment to family-centered care, cultural responsiveness, and patient advocacy.

Prior to her current role, Katy worked as a physical therapist at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where she treated a wide range of pediatric patients. She also served at Nemours Children’s Health, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient pediatric services.

As Director of Allied Health, Katy is dedicated to improving clinical outcomes through coordinated, team-based care and evidence-based practice, supporting both patients and clinicians in delivering high-quality therapy services across our OT, SLP, and PT departments.
